AP11D APs require Power over Ethernet (802.3at Class 4 PoE+) or Aruba’s specific 48V power adapter. 802.3af PoE alone is not sufficient for full functionality, notably PoE-out on downlink ports. There are two ordering options based on your chosen power approach. This is model R2X16A that is just the unit, only recommended if you plan to attach to a PoE+ capable Ethernet switch.
